(01/04-05/04) Making the paper mache model

I started off with basic shapes, using a balloon to support the main sphere that would make up the base of the top of the head.

Using the balloon also meant I could try to keep the model more light weight so if i wanted to photograph it in multiple locations later it could be transported easily without risk of breakage from dropping it due to it being too heavy.

So I made the main sphere of the back and top of the head first, followed by the jaw separately. In attaching these I did so that they would create a broad supportive base that would stop it from moving anywhere.
